Dr. Chomchana Trevai (Chom) is an entrepreneur, investor, and ventures builder with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of AI, robotics, and enterprise technology. Currently Regional GTM AI Lead for JAPAC at Google Cloud, Chom drives AI adoption and go-to-market strategy across the Japan and Asia-Pacific region. Previously at AWS for 8 years (2018-2026), he served as Head of AI/ML Business for ASEAN based in Singapore, and before that as AI/ML Specialist in Japan, helping organizations across the region operationalize machine learning at scale. Earlier, he held business development and technology leadership roles at Cisco Systems, GE Digital, and ServiceMax in Japan. Chom holds a Ph.D. from The University of Tokyo, where his research focused on cooperative multi-robot systems and autonomous exploration using reaction-diffusion models. He is a frequent speaker on AI, agentic AI, generative AI, and the future of intelligent systems, and is passionate about democratizing AI/ML to drive real-world impact.
What I Believe
Every organization, regardless of size or geography, deserves access to transformative AI capabilities. I've spent my career breaking down barriers to AI adoption across Asia-Pacific.
We're moving beyond chatbots to autonomous AI agents that reason, plan, and act. This shift will fundamentally transform how businesses operate and create value.
The most powerful outcomes emerge when humans and AI systems work together. AI amplifies human creativity and decision-making rather than replacing it.
With its diverse markets, rapid digitalization, and growing talent pool, JAPAC is uniquely positioned to be a global driver of practical AI innovation.
